  1. Analyse why red sunsets can sometimes be more impressive when there is more dust or pollution in the air than usual.

Well i think that red sunsets can sometimes be more impressive when there is more dust or pollution because this dust and pollution can give off a different colour to a normal colored sunset.

 

  1. Describe what happens inside water droplets to cause a rainbow and explain how you can tell whether a rainbow is a primary or secondary.

A collection of suspended water droplets in the atmosphere serve as a refractor of light and the water represents a medium with a different optical density than the surrounding air. Light waves then refract when they cross over the boundary from one medium to another.
