1. WHAT YOU LEARNED TODAY?

Today I learned that this project Green Up is to redesign Westmead by making a better environment for everyone. Also I learnt that if I ever need help with doing my journals I could look at other people’s journals to get a rough idea and not to copy their work. I learnt how to use the Habits of Mind sheet to reflect over my journals.

2. WHERE YOU ARE ACHIEVING YOUR TASK OR GOAL?

I am wanting to achieve at my task at being more aware at what I am doing and to understand the rubric to get the research done.

3. YOUR NEXT STEPS?

My next steps are to follow this sheet to get my journals done well and right as the teachers want me to. Also my next steps will be preparing with my group to get organised and to start research in the next few lessons as this projects has already started.

4. ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT ANYTHING?

There is one question I want to ask is ” How and what do we use to redesign Westmead? ”

How do you plan to make your groups performance engaging for a modern audience? How have these two extracts helped you?

I would plan out to have the play as modern as possible by using todays real life situations and to make the act funny for the audience to keep engaged on what is going on in our play.

What key themes do you need to include in your 3 minute script from the play your group has chosen to study?

The key themes would be to rehearse the script over and over to memerise it off by heart and to practice our play and modernise the play as an 21st century act.

What you have discovered so far about the play your group has chosen to study? Which key characters have been introduced?

So far i have discovered about our play is that we as a group have to present this play in a well mannered way and to have appropriately finished the task as well as possible.

The key characters that have been introduced is William Shakespear and he is a very well acted person that plays a very good role model.

In this picture it shows the women holding a snowboard which is the brand of BILLABONG. The visual techniques have been used to show her holding a snowboard, the background colour which stands out and will make people look twice just to see what is in the picture.

It attracts the viewer by making them look at the picture to understand what Billabong is trying to sell which is the snowboard. The colour black stands out to any colour being used inside the picture and makes people look as they for e.g. (walk past or drive past) as they are looking around the place.

Also the language is being used by telling us the main point of the picture by telling us what the picture is trying to sell to us and for us to buy this product. The framing of this pictures is mainly based on the women who is holding the Billagong snowboard in the middle of the main picture with the dark background. The angle of this picture is a front on angle which has been used to show the women holding the snowboard and the snowboard to be shown as well which has a bright look on it in the bottom right hand corner.

The lighting is mostly based on the womens body, half her face and both ends of the snowboard. Shadows have been used on half of her face to show the look on her face as well as the snowboards look.

The layout of this picture is by her standing up holding the snowboard which could show us that she might be ready to go skying with the new ‘BILLABONG’ snowboard which Billabong has made new. The front veiw is to show most of the snowboard that she has in her hands and to promote that the snowboard is for sale at skying stores for any consumers and buyers.

The snowboard has an arrow which is pointing up towards the ‘Billabong logo’ which is showing the snowboard is made by the brand ‘Billabong’ and to show that Billabong is selling their new snowboard for skiers.

The reading path is presented from the left hand corner to the bottom right hand corner becasue thats how we read for left to right. It makes us look from the left hand side of the picture to the right hand side of the picture and we can see that she is holding a snowboard in her hands.
