Investigate the two types of sight defect- long-sightedness and short sightedness.

Find the following information:

  1. what causes the defect

What causes the defect is that when you look at something at a long distance your eyes start to blur and you get a less clear vision.

  1. the symptoms displayed

The symptoms displayed are blurieness and sore eyes as you strain them to look closer or further than you can.

  1. Propose what sort of lens may be used to correct each vision.

Maybe the lens called bi – concex because it gives you an oval shape which our eyes are similar to that shape of lens.

What influences your values about issues relating to your life?

Well sometimes I do see stories that have happened and they are true, then you see them on the news and they have changed that story to make it hear like it is very tragical.

Do you ever compare images/values presented by the media to those of the bible? If so why? If not why not?

It depends on what the issue is but most of the time i believe the bible more than what the media says about religion for example.

Has this project challenged you to examine your values? Why / Why not

Yes it has challenged me to examine my values because I want to know more about the real life issues out in the real world.

  • How do you feel the media portrays social justice issues?

I feel that the media portrays social justice issues by saying fake things about the story, of fake recordings that never happened.

  • Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issues why/why not?

It has been a bit hard because the are so many articles out there on the internet and then you  find an article in two different sites and the articles reads different stories than the other.

  • Do you think that the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research

Yes I do think that the media operates from a moral framework because sometimes you here stories that have been changed to the actual real story which makes it a fake story.
